Access to the Throne
Praise God, we have access to the throne because Jesus not only resurrected but that He ascended and performed the duty of the Great High Priest. Because of our High Priest, we can access the greatest power and help available. We do not have to go to a priest to confess our sins. We have a High Priest that made it possible that we can be in the family of God. No more are we outsiders and castaways, we are His household and He made our bodies to be His temple.
For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was tempted as we are, yet without sin.
Let us boldly come before the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in the time of need. Hebrews 4:15-16
And because Jesus was victorious over death, all that are in Him are victorious.
But thanks be to God which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Forgiveness Because of the Blood
Our the blood of our High Priest still has the power to do more than what the blood of animals could do. The blood of animals NEVER took away sins. But the BLOOD of JESUS provided our redemption (He bought and brought us back!) and forgiveness of sins.
In Whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. Ephesians 1:7
But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:7, 9
