Beyond Resurrection (Cont.)
You see in those sacrifices, it was necessary to be done every year. The sins of the people were only covered, not removed. Thank God that Jesus body was resurrected for He entered into the heavenly sanctuary and presented His BODY and His BLOOD as the sacrifice and atonement for our sins. No other person that was raised from the dead could do this. He was the sacrifice and the High Priest at the same time. That's awesome!
Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood He entered once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. Hebrews 9:12
By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the BODY of Jesus Christ once and for all.
And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices which can NEVER take away sins:
But this man, after Had offered ONE sacrifice for sins FOREVER, sat down on the right hand of God;
From hence forth expecting till His enemies be made His footstool.

Access to the Throne
Praise God, we have access to the throne because Jesus not only resurrected but that He ascended and performed the duty of the Great High Priest. Because of our High Priest, we can access the greatest power and help available.
For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was tempted as we are, yet without sin.
Let us boldly come before the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in the time of need. Hebrews 4:15-16
