Receiving Christ
But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.
John 1:12
Invite Jesus into your life to become your personal Savior and Lord.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; but with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Roman 10:9, 10.
What to pray:
Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I have rebelled against You and rejected Your rule over my life.
I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin on the cross and rose again.
I believe that Jesus ascended into heaven to present Himself as the atoning sacrifice for my sins.
I am willing to turn from sin.
Jesus I invite You to come into my heart and life as my personal Savior and Lord.
I submit to Your rule over my life. Thank You for receiving me into your Kingdom.
Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the KINGDOM of His dear Son:
In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:12-13
Praise God, according to the scripture (Romans 10:9-10), you are saved by faith. And by faith in Christ Jesus, YOU are a child of God (Galatians 3:26).
