I was truly blessed by this article. As I began to read it, I started to remember how God had taken me through similar steps in being delivered from hurt. I would try to just forget but that didn't work. As you stated you must allow God to help you and go to those who hurt you for closure. Now I'm free to be around the people, to see them and fellowship with them without being bound from hurt. I thank God that you allowed Him to use you with this article because it helps me to witness to others that are hurt and know that I'm not alone. You've inspired me to stay free. May God's blessings be on you … Looking forward to the next article.

The article really hit home with me. Being abused at a young age, I didn't feel loved and didn't feel that I deserved to be loved. The mask that you wore was shared with me. I'd cover up and feel horrible inside. After giving my life to God, I thought that the hurt would leave but it got worse. I thank God that I experienced going through similar things that you did. I can truly relate. I believe this article is going to minister to many. So be aware that the enemy will not be pleased, but you be blessed and believe that as God has given you the boldness to write this article, He will bless you more and more.

This is good, real good. I know that you've been through and I'm so proud of you and how you are willing to bless others from your experiences. God is so good and you will be blessed.

This article is great! I had my girlfriend read it and she started to relate because she has suffered from much hurt. She wants to call you to let you know how much you have blessed her. She started to share her heart with me about how she hurt …You ignited a need in her to be totally free. Praise God for you and Quinn.

But what a mighty God we serve!!! When I got to work, my heart was still beating fast but I opened my e-mail and got your web site information. I began to scroll through your web-site and saw your article and read it! And the joy of the Lord is my strength. I say all that to say this is what lifted me this morning was you!!! To see you as a vessel ~ my God, just took over my mind! To read about your hurt! To read about your success! To read about you! I've always wanted to write publicly about my pain but never did. You are going to be blessed by sharing this ~ I know you know this already! I am praying for you! I pray that this ministry the two of you have will not only bless others but bless you two in your marriage and home and that He will bring you closer daily. That your communication becomes stronger. That your husband's love for you becomes deeper more and more each day. When he looks at you he will see a new woman!
I commend you and Elder Mitchell for a great job! If I could be of any help, please let me know. Anything about sharing God's Word, is a teaching tool for me and I'm available.

Shirleen,
I am responding to your article on healing the hurt. This piece of work
was definitely an instrument that gave the most important ingredient to our healing process....The ability to forgive.
I too have gone through some powerful chains of mental & emotional
bondage that was not self inflicted, but also caused by those who we worship among, especially during my season of new beginnings.
Certain winds have a tendency to blow into our season....sometimes, only
God knows why, but if we can take the formula that you have given, trust God enough to do what he said, we will not only see ourselves, but really
feel the transformation of God turning us from Victims to Victor's.
May God continue to bless you as you deal with "The Matter's Of The
Heart". We love both you & Elder Mitchell and are praying that God will continue to bless your Union, Ministry and Works.
P.S.
Thanks for sharing. My soul has truly been blessed.....

Hi Shirl,
Yes dear heart I've been there more times than I'd like to remember, But
thank God for His delivering power that helps us to over come. Well I
want to say God has also delivered me from hurts. And yes it seemed that with all the books and all the preaching (some what because it seems that there are those who are afraid to go there with this subject) I've heard and praying nothing was helping. But just as you stated in your article I had to truly let go and give it to God.
I thank God for Him delivering you and for Him continuing to do a work
in you because as I stated to you in the past I NEED YOU AND OTHERS NEED YOU TOO! :)
Shirl, I am so excited for the direction God is moving you in and yes
you are as the scripture states fearfully and wonderfully made. What an
awesome God we serve!
Love you
p/s Let Him finish the work He started!
