As we celebrate the birth of JESUS CHRIST, remember that
giving and sharing LOVE everyday is more important than a
purchased gift, given once a year.
HAE prays that EVERYONE HAS A BLESSED & SAFE HOLIDAY!
This issue of Listen Up! is entitled, "Don't Stop Believing."
Have faith in God (constantly).
Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain,
Be lifted up and thrown into the sea!
And does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says
will take place, it will be done for him.
For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe
(trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will (get it)
Mark 11:23-24 (Amplified Bible).
Biblical teacher Charles Stanley defined success as "the continuing
achievement of becoming the person God wants you to be and accomplishing
the goals God has helped you set." This kind of success requires that
you constantly believe. Therefore, if you believe, you can achieve.
True belief triggers action. If you truly believe, your actions will
support what you believe. If you doubt in your heart, guess what? Your
actions will show it.
When I look back over my accomplishments, I often SAW myself doing "it"
before "it" happened. I believed that I could do it! The stronger my
belief was, the harder I worked at making it a reality. There were some
challenges that seemed like mountains but, I overcame. Of course
there were times of doubt... Norman Vincent Peale once wrote, "Thinking
is the body of the rocket. Believing is the propellant which carries it
to the stars."
Ponder on these questions:
What do you see yourself doing?
How far do you see yourself going?
What do you see yourself having?
Is your rocket running out of fuel?
If you can't imagine it, it's probably not going to happen.
