Fulfilling Prophecy

Here are some excerpts from our recent Prophetic seminar:

To fulfill prophecy means that the prophecy has been

completed or it came to pass. When a prophecy is

fulfilled, it is brought into realization.

The majority of personal prophecy is contingent on

you being obedient and doing your part. I believe

that the fulfilling of prophecy can be delayed or may

not come to pass all depending on our response.

Israel delayed the fulfilling of prophecy. It could

have been a forty-day journey into the promise land

but instead it took forty years because of unbelief

and fear.

I wonder how many of us are putting the fulfilling of

the prophetic promise on hold because of neglect to

fulfill our portion. Realize that prophecies fail

because we fail to respond appropriately. Also

realize that the person speaking the prophecy is not

a false prophet because the recipient failed to

respond correctly. Neither does the lack of

appropriate response make the prophecy false.

Learn from the Ant

Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her

ways, and be wise:

Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,

Provideth her meat in the summer, [and]

gathereth her food in the harvest.

How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when

wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?

Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a

little folding of the hands to sleep:

So shall thy poverty come as one that

travelleth, and thy want as an armed man.

Pro 6:6- 11

The ant knows of a futuristic change. This can also

apply to the prophetic realm because we may have a

coming prophetic season in which we must prepare

for. Laziness keeps us from preparing for that

coming season. When we fail to prepare, we may also

fail at seeing the fulfilling of the change in

season. Or worse, see it but have no part in it.

God may have been dealing with you about enhancing

your education, reading up on a particular topic,

managing your weight or whatever it may be. You have

a coming season that you must prepare for. Don’t let

the window of entering that season pass you by

because of laziness.

God is looking to Fulfill the Prophetic Word in your
