It is Possible!

Jesus said unto him.
"If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth."  Mark 9:23

Sometimes I wonder if we limit our own success.   Is it possible that
what we are experiencing and possessing is a product of our belief or
unbelief?  I'm specifically talking about our achievements, our health and wealth.
Is it possible for things to change?  Situations with our jobs, our
churches, our families, it is possible for things to change for the
better.

In the gospel of Mark we find a familiar story in which a man brings his
son to Jesus' disciples for deliverance.  An evil spirit would get a
hold of him and cast him into the fire or water to destroy him.  The boy
would be in agony being torn on the inside, foaming at the mouth, while
gnashing with his teeth.  This was not normal behavior.  I liken it to
seizures and attempts of suicide.

As the story goes, the disciples were unsuccessful in casting out the
evil spirit, so the man came to Jesus. In coming to Jesus, the man asked for help.
Now it's amazing what Jesus says. Jesus said, "If thou canst believe all things
are possible to him that believeth."  If you noticed, Jesus shifted the responsibility off
of Himself onto the man with the problem.  In other words, there is
enough power and ability in Jesus to fix anything but He is waiting for
us to believe.  That's Powerful!

Isn't it great that Jesus didn't say that some things are possible?  He
said ALL things! I don't know what you might be facing, maybe it's sickness or a
financial burden, maybe it's a job you are looking for, whatever it might be, friend
I'm here to tell you that it is possible!  The very thing that you feel that you can't do,
or can't get - it is possible!

You recall the story of the great news that Gabriel gave to the Virgin
Mary. She would give birth to a son and shall call His name Jesus.  Mary
was puzzled, wondering how this could be, seeing that she was indeed a
virgin.  Gabriel responded, "With God, nothing is impossible."
My friend, don't limit the power of God through doubt and unbelief.  As
long as there is God, there is hope.  In spite of past disappointments,
"It is possible."
